After a great deal of planning, testing, experimentation, and tasting, the idea for LESTYÁN was born.
We wanted to create a concept rarely seen in the culinary world—one that embodies innovative and youthful values true to our circle, our interests, our outlook, and our philosophy. With a unique approach and attention to every detail, we aim to create something lasting that will shake up the current gastronomic scene.
We believe that delicious food should be paired with an exciting experience, so that we don’t just fill people’s stomachs, but also provide them with an uplifting, lasting experience.
Through our dishes and the drinks we pair with them, we also want to encourage our guests to understand and fully experience what we intended to express with the concept of each menu. Our goal is to provide a culinary experience that sets LESTYÁN apart from your average high-end restaurant.

OUR TEAM

Our team is young, enthusiastic, and works together seamlessly. Blessed with a versatile approach and extensive knowledge, we are fully committed to ensuring that everyone who chooses us enjoys the most perfect experience possible.

The project itself was created with the goal of bringing together ambitious young people and experienced chefs open to nurturing talent. We want to show—mostly through pop-up events—what we think about gastronomy today. Over time, we organized more and more events, started doing private cooking services, and creating tasting menus. The story evolved to the point where we rented the former Laurel venue and held dinner events there.

We don’t feel awkward or see our work as a burden; the joy of creation and our successes are what drive us forward. Our goals can be approached from multiple angles. Our work reflects a pursuit of precision and a blend of tradition and innovation.
We want to make high-end gastronomy “cool” for the younger generation, since we ourselves are part of the next generation.
Another key goal of ours is to make high-level fine dining accessible to everyone, whether they are vegetarian, pescatarian, or have any food sensitivities; our menu even includes completely meat-free options.
In addition, every menu features our signature zero-waste dishes, through which we demonstrate foresight and mindfulness to our guests.
